Happy Birthday, Charlotte! - Chicago Baby Photographer

Oh my goodness, this little girl was so adorable and rocked her cake smash session! She was a bit shy at first, but after some cuddles from mom and dad (and a little snack break) she was all smiles and giggles. Charlotte was not very interested in eating her cake, and when we put her little fingers in the frosting she was NOT happy to have messy hands. She is obviously fitting into her role as the princess very well! Happy first birthday, Charlotte! I cannot wait to see you again this fall for your mini session :-)

Hello, Violet! - Chicago Newborn Portraits

Oh, this sweet girl was so perfect during her session! She slept like a dream and how precious are those cheeks?? I absolutely love being a newborn photographer in the Chicago area as it not only allows me to meet wonderful people, but I also get to travel to new neighborhoods and cities every week. Hello, Zelda! - Chicago Newborn & Maternity Portraits

I met Corri and Spiro back in June for their maternity session on North Ave Beach, and had such a FUN time! They brought along their two furbabies, Emma & Harley and everyone was anticipating Baby Z's arrival. I love when couples just click and can have fun together, and I can take adorable candid photos of them without much direction.

                       
I was so excited to see Corri after the arrival of Baby Zelda. She easily slipped into the role of being a mom, and it was clear that Zelda stole her heart right away. Of course we had to take some shots in the amazing nursery and coordinated some props with her adorable lilac decor. Hello, Ethan! - Chicago Newborn Photography

Baby Ethan is such a handsome little fella! I met his parents a few weeks earlier for a maternity shoot in the Lincoln Park Lily Pond for the first of our four sessions together. Ethan is part of my Ultimate First Year Program which includes sessions at newborn, 6-months, and one-year with the option to add on a maternity session for only $100. It was such an honor to photograph a fellow photographer and her family! I have followed Michele's work for a couple years now and couldn't wait to finally meet her. Her daughter was so sweet and has such a spunky little personality, she definitely kept me on my toes :-) The weather was chilly and foggy, so we had to make a last minute location switch from North Ave Beach to the Lily Pond in Lincoln Park. Ioana & Jonathan- Chicago Engagement Photography

Returning from vacation is always tough, but luckily I have a lot of wonderful photos to look back on. I spent a lovely week in Northern Michigan with my boyfriend and his family and am already missing the nightly campfires, farm stands, and country road runs alongside the cherry orchards. Chicago is a wonderful city, but it was quite nice to get away from the crowds and traffic.

During the trip I was able to coax Ioana and Jonathan into a little engagement session (coax may be a strong word, I think they were excited :) These two met 4 years ago at a mutual friend's wedding and have been together ever since. Jonathan and Ioana live in Washington D.C. working as an architect and graphic designer, respectively (could they be any cooler?). Check out Ioana's awesome design work here. Can't wait for this wedding, you guys are the best! <3
