This was a highly anticipated session by not only me, but my 7-year old niece as well. Granted, our excitement was for different reasons; I had been wanting do to a session with her for ages and she had been wanting some new Pokemon cards... win win. I flew to my sister's house in VA and new that I wanted to do this session in Colonial Williamsburg. I don't often have the chance to photograph clients in this type of setting and had to take advantage of the gorgeous homes, rustic barns, and animals grazing. My niece was her usual crazy, awesome self and was so great at listening to my direction. There was also plenty of time spent chasing squirrels and collecting pebbles, and I know that I will look back on these photos years from now and fondly remember this wonderful day.
