Hello, Daglan! - Chicago Newborn Photography

I am always excited when siblings are involved in the newborn photo shoot. Daglan's big sister Mira was just the sweetest! She was a great helper, and was often by my side picking out the next wrap (or five) that she wanted me to use on her baby brother. I never know if I will be able to achieve any sibling poses since a lot of big brothers and sisters are NOT happy about the new little addition, but Mira was so sweet and patient with her baby brother, and I am so happy with the sibling portraits we were able to capture. Hello, Leo! - Chicago Newborn Baby Portraits

What a handsome fella! This guy was so little when I met him, just over 6 lbs, but already full of personality. His parents requested neutral colors (my favorite), so I made sure to bring along some cute gray and cream props. I love incorporating lifestyle images with the whole family, and Leo gave me a wide variety of emotions while cuddled in his mom's arms. He smiled, he cried, and he gave the saddest little pout. I think it was just his way of saying he was sad the session was coming to an end   :-)  Welcome to the world, Leo!

Hello, William!- Chicago Newborn Photography

Oh, this little boy was such a sweetheart! He did SO well during his first photo shoot, and he was just as sleepy as can be. I loved trying out my DIY dyed flokati for the first time. I was going for a navy color, but am pretty happy with this blue/gray that I ended up with! Will is one of my Ultimate First Year babies, so you will be seeing more of his adorable face in the coming months!

Hello, Aiden! - Chicago Baby Photography- Six Month Portraits

Six-month olds are probably tied with newborns as my favorite age for photo shoots. They are so smiley and happy and most can't crawl away when I point a camera at them :-) This little guy was full of smiles and thought my crazy sounds and singing were pretty amusing. We met for a session in Lincoln Park and found a nice spot in the tall grass where Aiden was happy to hang out for an hour. He is such a little charmer with those big brown eyes and chubby cheeks!

Welcome Baby Jacob! - Chicago Newborn Photographer

This little guy came in for his session last month and he was such a sweet boy! I may be a little behind on blogging, but that is nothing new... Jake's mom had warned me that he loves being held and may be a bit fussy, but once he fell asleep, I don't think he made a peep for the whole photo shoot. I absolutely love this first image with minimal props and neutral colors. He also loved being on his tummy, so I took advantage of that and did a few different poses with his head resting on his hands. Isn't he adorable?!
